This group collects members of the eastern and southeastern geographic branches of the Pama-Nyungan family, covering New South Wales and Victoria (the Wiradhuric, Yuin-Kuric, Gippsland, Kulinic, Gumbaynggiric, Dyangadi and Tharawal languages) and the Maric, Waka-Kabic and Yugambeh-Bundjalung branches of southern and central Queensland. Placement follows each member's own description naming a New South Wales, Victorian or southern/central Queensland Pama-Nyungan branch or language.
