The Pame languages are a group in the Oto-Pamean branch of the Oto-Manguean family, spoken by around 12,000 Pame people in the Mexican state of San Luis Potosi and in Puebla. Northern Pame and Central Pame each have roughly 6,000 speakers, while Southern Pame is extinct, last documented in the mid-twentieth century.
