The Pakawan languages are a proposed, now extinct small language family formerly spoken in what is today northern Mexico and southern Texas, along the Rio Grande valley. The proposal, classified within the disputed Coahuiltecan and broader Hokan hypotheses, groups Coahuilteco and Cotoname with the Comecrudan family of Comecrudo, Garza and Mamulique.
