Totonac is a Totonacan language cluster of central Mexico, spoken by the Totonac people and recognized, though as a single language, among Mexico's roughly sixty other official indigenous languages. It is a Mesoamerican language showing many of the traits that define the Mesoamerican Linguistic Area.
