Arai-Samaia is a proposed language family of New Guinea put forward by Timothy Usher within the Papuan languages, spoken near the Arai and Samaia rivers. It comprises an Arai River, or Left May, branch of Ama, Nimo-Nakwi, Owiniga and West Arai River; the isolate Pyu; and a Samaia River, or Amto-Musan, branch of Amto and Musan.
