The Muna-Buton languages are a group of Austronesian languages of the Celebic subgroup, spoken on the islands of Muna and Buton off the coast of South East Sulawesi province, Indonesia. The roughly ten languages of the group, including Muna, Cia-Cia, Tukang Besi and Bonerate, descend from a reconstructed Proto-Muna-Buton and split into the Nuclear Muna-Buton and Tukang Besi-Bonerate branches.
