The Barito languages are around twenty Austronesian languages of Indonesian Borneo, plus Malagasy, the national language of Madagascar, and the Sama-Bajaw languages spoken around the Sulu Archipelago. They are named for the Barito River in South Kalimantan, Indonesia.
