Movima is a language spoken by about 1,400 of the Movima people, roughly half the ethnic population, in the Llanos de Moxos region of Beni Department in northeastern Bolivia, including the town of Santa Ana del Yacuma and several smaller communities. It holds official status within Bolivia. Movima is a language isolate with no proven relationship to any other language, and as of 2012 around 1,000 native speakers were documented, a declining number among the broader Movima population.
