Tharrgari language

Tharrgari, also spelled Tharrkari or Dhargari, is a Pama-Nyungan language of the Mantharta branch of the Kanyara-Mantharta group, traditionally spoken in the southern Pilbara region of Western Australia, and was spoken until around 2005. The four Mantharta varieties, Tharrgari, Warriyangka, Thiin and Jiwarli, are distinct but mutually intelligible, and the branch takes its own name, like the neighboring Kanyara branch, from the local word for man shared across all four varieties.
