Nhuwala is an extinct Pama-Nyungan language of the Ngayarda branch, native to the Barrow and Monte Bello Islands and the adjoining coast of Western Australia, which became extinct in the late 1990s. Its classification within Ngayarda was once uncertain, but linguists Bowern and Koch included it among the Ngayarda languages without reservation in 2004. It carries the ISO 639-3 code nhf and is recorded under a number of alternate names, including Nuala, Ngoala, Noella and Jawanmala.
