Tiniguan

The Tiniguan languages are one or two extinct languages and one moribund language of Colombia that together form a small family. Researcher Marcelo Jolkesky has noted lexical similarities between Tiniguan and the Andaqui language, though a fuller relationship has not been established.

The family total equals the single living Tinigua speaker as of 2019; the other two members, Pamigua and Majigua, are extinct.

No Proto-Tiniguan reconstruction has been published. Despite extremely limited documentation of Pamigua, the classification section finds the relationship with Tinigua fairly close on the basis of shared basic vocabulary. 1
