Arawan, also spelled Arahuan or Arauan, is a family of languages spoken in western Brazil's Amazonas and Acre states and Peru's Ucayali region, comprising the extinct Arawa language alongside the living Kulina, Deni, Jamamadi, Paumari and Zuruaha languages. Proposed wider connections to the Harakmbut-Katukinan languages and to a broader Macro-Arawakan grouping remain unconfirmed.
