The Trans-Sao Francisco languages, Transanfranciscano in Portuguese, are a proposed grouping within the Macro-Je languages of Brazil, consisting of the Krenak, Maxakalian and possibly the Kamaka families. The grouping takes its name from the Sao Francisco River of northeastern Brazil and was originally proposed and demonstrated by the linguists Nikulin and Silva in 2020 under the name Maxakali-Krenak.
