The Northern Je, or Core Je, languages are a branch of the Je language family made up of the Timbira dialect continuum and a number of languages spoken west of the Tocantins River, the Trans-Tocantins languages Apinaje, Mebengokre, Kisedje, and Tapayuna. Together with Panara, they form the Goyaz branch of the Je family.
