Kulina, also spelled Kulina or Culina and also called Madiha, Madija or Madija, is an Arawan language of Brazil and Peru spoken by about 3,900 to 4,000 Kulina people along the Purus, Envira, Jurua, Tarauaca and Jutai rivers of Brazil's Acre and Amazonas states and Peru's Ucayali region. It forms a Madiha dialect continuum with the closely related Western Jamamadi and Deni languages, and its limited speaker base makes it a threatened language.
