The Ta-Arawakan languages, also known as Ta-Maipurean and Caribbean, are the Indigenous Arawakan languages of the Caribbean islands and mostly coastal South America. They are distinguished by the first person pronominal prefix ta-, as opposed to the common Arawakan prefix na-.
