Script Status

Script status records how actively a writing system is still used today, from thriving to purely historical. Wikipedia notes the Latin script "is the most widely adopted writing system in the world," a status few scripts in history have ever come close to. This dimension separates scripts still in daily use from those kept only for scholarship.
