The Bosavi languages, also called the Papuan Plateau languages, are a family within the Trans-New Guinea languages, spoken around Mount Bosavi east of the Strickland River on the Papuan Plateau of Papua New Guinea. The family comprises seven languages, Aimele, Beami, Edolo, Kaluli, Kasua, Onobasulu and Sonia, with Kaluli and Sonia sharing about 70 percent lexical similarity, notably higher than the roughly 10 to 15 percent shared among the family's other members.
