Filipino Sign Language, abbreviated FSL and also called Philippine Sign Language, is a sign language originating in the Philippines with its own grammar, syntax and morphology, unrelated to and not resembling Filipino or English. Some researchers consider its indigenous signs to be at risk of being lost to the increasing influence of American Sign Language.
