The Kombio-Arapeshan languages, also called Kombio-Arapesh, are proposed to constitute a branch of the Torricelli language family of Papua New Guinea, a classification advanced by Donald C. Laycock in 1975 and maintained by Matthew S. Dryer in 2024. William A. Foley rejected this classification in a 2018 study, so the branch's validity remains disputed among specialists.
