The Yuat languages are an independent family of five Papuan languages spoken along the Yuat River in East Sepik Province, Papua New Guinea, comprising Changriwa, Mekmek, Kyenele, Biwat and Bun. Linguist Malcolm Ross classified Yuat as an independent family, though Stephen Wurm had earlier included it within his broader Sepik-Ramu proposal.
