The Lower Sepik languages are a small family of East Sepik Province in northern Papua New Guinea. Following the classifications of William Foley (2018) and Timothy Usher (2020), the family comprises six languages in four branches: a Kopar-Murik, or Nor, branch made up of Murik and Kopar, and three further branches, Angoram, Chambri, and a paired Karawari-Yimas branch, with the exact hierarchical relationships among some branches still pending further evidence.
