Inuit Sign Language is the indigenous sign language of the Inuit and is classified among the Inuit languages, though it is a language isolate rather than genetically related to spoken Inuit languages. It is native to Inuit communities of the Canadian Arctic and is currently attested only in certain communities in Nunavut, particularly Baker Lake and Rankin Inlet, though it may also be used elsewhere in the Arctic without confirmation.
