Yeli Dnye, also known simply as Yele, is the language of Rossel Island, the easternmost island of the Louisiade Archipelago off the eastern tip of Papua New Guinea. It is spoken by essentially the entire ethnic population of the island, around 5,000 people, and remains unclassified, though it has been tentatively linked to the Anem and Ata languages of New Britain in a proposed Yele-West New Britain family.
