The Moklenic, or Moken-Moklen, languages consist of a pair of two closely related but distinct languages, Moken and Moklen. A 1999 study by Larish established the two languages as forming two distinct subgroups of a larger Moken-Moklen branch, and a 2005 study by the same author suggested Moklenic as an alternative name for Moken-Moklen.
