The Zemeic, also called Zeliangrong or Western Naga, are a branch of Sino-Tibetan languages spoken mostly in the Indian states of Nagaland, Assam and Manipur in northeast India. They may have a close relationship with other Naga languages, pending further research. The corresponding ethnic group is the Zeliangrong people, who numbered 63,529 Zemeic speakers in Nagaland state in the 2011 census.
