Indo-European: Armenian, Albanian and Paleo-Balkan

Armenian and Albanian are each the sole surviving member of their own independent branch of Indo-European, and both are grouped here with the fragmentary Paleo-Balkan languages, Illyrian, Thracian, Dacian, Phrygian and their relatives, poorly attested ancient languages of the Balkans and Anatolia whose exact branch affiliation within Indo-European remains debated or unresolved. This child group, under Indo-European Branches, holds every Eurasian Language Families member whose sourced description identifies it as Armenian, Armeno-Phrygian, Albanic, Albanian, or one of the named Paleo-Balkan languages, collecting Indo-European's smallest and most fragmentary branches into one place rather than minting a group of one for each.
