Kwale, also called Uare, is a language of Papua New Guinea and, by itself, one of the recognized branches of the Trans-New Guinea family, named Kwalean for that branch. Its dialects are Garihe, also called Garia, and Uare proper. It is spoken in the Rigo Inland Rural LLG of Central Province, Papua New Guinea.
