The West Himalayish languages, also known as Almora or Kanauric, are a family of Sino-Tibetan languages centered in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand and extending across the border into Nepal. Linguist Randy LaPolla has proposed that they may be part of a larger Rung grouping.
