Mijiic is a small language family of two related languages, Miji, also called Sajolang, and Bangru, spoken in Arunachal Pradesh in northeastern India and in the Shannan Prefecture of China. The family is provisionally placed within the Sino-Tibetan languages, possibly under the Hrusish branch, though the evidence for that placement is weak. Miji and Bangru share corresponding numeral systems but have markedly different consonant inventories, a mismatch that has made their internal relationship difficult to reconstruct with confidence.
