The Maraic languages are a branch of the Kuki-Chin languages, part of Sino-Tibetan, spoken by the Mara people of Mizoram, India, and Chin State, Myanmar. Linguist Kenneth VanBik's 2009 classification counts eight Maraic languages, including Mara itself along with Duatu, Sizo, Lutuv, Zophei, Senthang, Zotung and Hlaipao.
