The Boroic, or Boro, languages are a group within the Boro-Garo branch of Sino-Tibetan, spoken around the Brahmaputra basin, the Barak Valley and Tripura in northeast India. The group's principal languages are Boro, Dimasa, Kachari, Kokborok, also called Tripuri, and Tiwa, with Barman also classified as a Boroic variety spoken by the Barman Kacharis.
