Iroquoian

This group collects members of the Iroquoian family, historically spoken around the Great Lakes, the St. Lawrence river valley and, as a separated southern outlier, the southern Appalachians, comprising the Five/Six Nations languages of the north (Mohawk, Oneida, Onondaga, Cayuga, Seneca and Tuscarora) and Cherokee in the southeast. Placement follows each member's own description naming it Iroquoian.
