The Gondoid languages are a subgroup of the indigenous language family that includes Gondi and related languages. Gondi proper is the most widely spoken language in the group, with over ten million speakers, and other members include Muria, Madiya, and Koya. Whether Pardhan is a separate language or a dialect of Gondi remains undetermined, though current fieldwork suggests it is a dialect, and the poorly attested Khirwar, spoken by people in the general Gond area, is assumed to be related to Gondi.
