Barbacoan Family

This group collects members of the Barbacoan family, spoken in the Andean foothills and coastal lowlands of southwestern Colombia and northern Ecuador, including Awa Pit, Cha'palaa, Guambiano (Misak) and Tsafiki. Barbacoan is a real, independent small family in its own right rather than a residual bucket, so it is grouped here on its own rather than folded into the general isolates and small families group below. Placement follows each member's own description naming it Barbacoan.
