Yangkaal is an extinct language of the Tangkic family, part of the wider Pama-Nyungan family, historically spoken in Queensland, Australia by the Gananggalinda people. Geoffrey O'Grady's classification treated it as a variety of Yukulta rather than as a fully separate language, reflecting its close relationship to the other Tangkic languages Kayardild, Lardil and Yukulta. Surviving documentation is limited to a small vocabulary, including kinship terms for father and mother, and the language is also recorded under the alternate names Yanggaralda, Janggal, Gananggalinda and Nemarang.
