Ngan'gityemerri, also known as Ngan'gi or by names including Ngan'gikurunggurr, Moil, and Marityemeri, is an Australian Aboriginal language of the Daly River region in the Northern Territory, classified outside the large Pama-Nyungan family. It has three mutually intelligible dialects: Ngan'gikurunggurr, with roughly one hundred fifty speakers, Ngen'giwumirri, with about thirty, and Ngan'gimerri, no longer spoken. The language is morphologically complex, with a system of about sixteen noun classes and a three-way contrast among obstruent consonants that is unusual for an Australian language.
