The Jarragan languages, formerly also called Jarrakan or Djeragan, are a small family of Australian Aboriginal languages spoken from Halls Creek to Wyndham and Kununurra along the Ord River in the eastern Kimberley region of Western Australia. The family's name derives from jarrag, the word for language in Kija. It comprises three languages: Gija, with about 160 speakers, Miriwoong, with about 150, and the extinct Gajirrawoong, grouped into a Gijic branch and a Miriwoongic branch.
