Zamucoan, also called Samukoan, is a small language family of northeastern Chaco Paraguay and Bolivia's Santa Cruz Department, comprising two living languages, Ayoreo, with about 3,160 speakers, and Chamacoco, with about 2,000, alongside the extinct Zamuco language and the extinct or possibly dialectal Guaranoca.
