The Tharawal languages are a small family of Pama-Nyungan Australian Aboriginal languages within the Yuin-Kuric grouping, formerly spoken along the South Coast of New South Wales, Australia, by the Dharawal, Dhurga, Dyirringanj and Thaua peoples. Scholars disagree on the family's exact membership: Bob Dixon lists four languages, Tharawal, Dhurga, Dyirringanj and Thawa, while Claire Bowern's Yuin classification lists three, Dharawal, Dhurga and Thawa; every member language is now extinct.
