Yangmanic is a small family of Australian Aboriginal languages of the Northern Territory, comprising Wardaman, Dagoman and Yangman, described as either dialects of one language or closely related distinct languages. The family was previously classified within the Gunwinyguan languages, but this connection has not been demonstrated, and Yangmanic is now treated as its own unclassified family among the northern non-Pama-Nyungan languages. Wardaman, its best-attested member, had about 50 native speakers recorded in the 2016 census, and some linguists have proposed a distant link to the isolate Wagiman despite a very low rate of shared cognates.
