Mixe-Zoquean and Totonacan

This group collects members of two further Mesoamerican families of southern Mexico that the report's own worked example does not separately name but which this subcategory's live roster carries in real depth: the Mixe-Zoquean family with its Mixean and Zoquean branches, and the closely associated Totonacan family (Totonac and Tepehua), along with the small, independent Tequistlatecan (Chontal) family of Oaxaca state grouped alongside them here as a fellow southern Mexican family rather than left in the general isolates bucket below. Placement follows each member's own description or name identifying it as Mixe, Mixean, Zoque, Zoquean, Totonac, Totonacan, Tepehua or Tequistlatecan.
