The Southwest Tanimbar languages, also known as the South Tanimbar or Selaru languages, are a pair of Austronesian languages, Selaru and Seluwasan, spoken in the Tanimbar Islands of Indonesia. Geographically part of the Central-Eastern Malayo-Polynesian languages, the two are not closely related, sharing only 56 percent of their vocabulary according to Ethnologue.
