The Wotu-Wolio languages are a subgroup of the Celebic branch of the Austronesian language family, spoken in Sulawesi, Indonesia. The group comprises five closely related languages organized into three branches, Kalao-Laiyolo in the Selayar Islands, Wolio-Kamaru on Buton Island and Wotu in the Wotu district near the Bone Gulf; a 2004 phonological analysis by Donohue established the group as distinct from the neighboring Muna-Buton languages, in which it had previously been classified.
