Central-Eastern Malayo-Polynesian is the traditional grouping uniting Central Malayo-Polynesian with Eastern Malayo-Polynesian; like Central Malayo-Polynesian itself, the node's internal coherence is debated in current Austronesian scholarship even though its membership in Malayo-Polynesian is not.
