The Yukubenic languages, also called the Oohum languages and formerly South Jukunoid, are a small branch of the Benue-Congo languages within the Niger-Congo family, spoken in Taraba State in southeastern Nigeria and parts of Cameroon. Classification is disputed: Glottolog places the group within Plateau, Ethnologue within Jukunoid, and a more recent proposal treats it as an independent Benue-Congo branch; member languages include Yukuben, Bete, Lufu, Kapya, Afudu and Akum.
