The Kim languages are a small group within the Mbum-Day languages of the provisional Savanna family, spoken in southern Chad. The group comprises three languages, Kim (also called Garap, Gerep, Kolop or Kosop), Besme and Goundo; Goundo is nearly extinct and Besme has only about a thousand speakers. Joseph Greenberg labeled the Kim languages G14 in his Adamawa language-family proposal.
