The Beromic languages are a branch of the Plateau languages within the Benue-Congo group of the Niger-Congo family, spoken in central Nigeria's Plateau, Kaduna and Bauchi states by around one million people. The branch comprises four languages, Berom, Cara, Iten and Nincut, with Berom the largest by a wide margin and the other three considerably smaller.
