The Talodi languages are a branch of the Kordofanian languages spoken in the Nuba Mountains of Sudan. Together with the neighboring Heiban languages, they have been proposed as a joint Talodi-Heiban grouping of about seven languages by the linguist Gerrit Dimmendaal, but the Glottolog classification does not accept this proposed unity pending further evidence, treating Talodi and Heiban as separate branches within the wider, also debated, Kordofanian and Niger-Congo groupings.
