The Bade languages, also called the Bade-Ngizim or B.1 West Chadic languages, are a branch of West Chadic spoken in Borno and Jigawa states of northern Nigeria. Bade itself is the largest member with about 250,000 speakers, followed by Ngizim with about 80,000, while several related varieties, including Shirawa, Teshenawa and Auyokawa, are now extinct.
